Scope of Involvement Including Outcomes and Issues

Project Management & financial control of the project from the conceptual stage to completion. Contractor went into receivership as a result of unrelated external factors. Due to tight financial control the loss to Horizon Power was minimal. DCCM took control of the contractor’s sub-contractors, which again reduced the loss to Horizon Power. Whilst constructing the fire fighting system a new power station was being built by Horizon Power on the adjacent lot. As a result of DCCM’s co-ordination with the power station Project Management team, the power station project saved approx. $150,000 by utilizing the pipework and meter installed for the depot fire fighting system.
